Are you an experienced project manager eager to work at the intersection of design, innovation, and strategy? At Moooi, we are looking for a Sr Project Manager to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will lead the project processes behind multiple new product development and key business initiatives, ensuring alignment, decision-making, and execution from concept to market launch. You ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and aligned with our brand ambitions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners, you are the glue and play a vital role in bringing our iconic designs to life. The Project Manager drives the process, alignment and decision-making but does not own or define product content, which remains with the respective functional leads (Product Development, Brand, Commercial).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead end-to-end product development projects. Define deliverables, timelines, and decision criteria for each phase. Prepare and facilitate gate reviews, ensuring alignment and decision readiness.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration between Product Development, Supply Chain, Brand, Sales, and external partners. Align creative intent with technical feasibility, cost targets, and industrialization requirements.

• Manage planning, scope, and resources by setting timelines, milestones, and dependencies. Maintain detailed project plans and proactively resolve constraints across teams.

• Identify and mitigate risks throughout all stages—design, technical development, procurement, industrialization, and production.

• Control budgets and costs, ensuring transparency from concept to production. Align with business case assumptions in collaboration with Product Management and Finance.

• Support industrialization and production readiness alongside the Operational Coordinator, ensuring all technical documentation, supplier readiness, compliance, and quality standards are met for handover to production and launch teams.

• Communicate and report effectively to stakeholders, including the CPO and leadership team. Provide structured updates and maintain full transparency across internal teams and external partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A degree in product development, engineering or design, with strong understanding and experience of cross-functional product development processes.

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role

• Experience with mass production value chains

• experience in writing business cases

• High energy, passion for design, and ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing international environment with complexity and ambiguity.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a structured and hands-on working style.

• Analytical mindset with focus on driving results and challenging constructively.

• Excellent organizational skills, combined with flexibility and resilience.
  Fully fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a strong plus.

• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

• You have a T-shaped profile: deep expertise in Design, Engineering, or Product Development, combined with broad knowledge of processes, business principles, and cross-functional collaboration.
